Lead design architect, William McMorran of Architectonicus recieved a Travelling Fellowship awarded by the Winston Chuchill Memorial Trust.
He is using the prize to explore the globe in search of the most highly acclaimed care projects, care models and care experts.
In this post I will summarise William's research around the world and link out to more detailed articles as and when they are written up.

The Fellowship for our lead designer & architect, specialising in dementia has taken him to Australia, Canada and Europe, Netherlands.

William also spoke with delegates at and attended 'The International Federation on Ageing' (IFA 2016) conference, and the Hamond Care Conference. At these conversations and presentations covered issues such as inter-generational care, and an example was made of rooms within a residential care environment which were rented out to Students, creating a more vibrant and positive atmosphere where the daily conversation is focused on so much more than the daily issues of giving and receiving care.
